Web Quality Assurance

Outsight has a number of projects launching this summer. We are currently seeking someone to work with our Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to test and release these projects. Depending on the individual, this could be handled as a Summer Internship or a 3 Month Contract. For the right individual, there is the potential to create a permanent, full-time position.

This position will assist our Senior QA Analyst in the following activities:

Reviewing specifications
Developing and maintaining manual test scripts for sites and online applications
Performing manual testing on sites and online applications
Communicating issues discovered into the bug tracking application
Verifying bug fixes
Communicating with team concerning status of testing and the overall state of sites and online applications

Ideal candidates would be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Logical, methodical and detail-oriented thought with a demonstrated ability to both follow direction AND think creatively through problems
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required as well as strong memory and recall.
Ideal candidates will have a familiarity with web technologies -- specifically, experience with major browsers (including mobile browsers) and both Mac and PC operating systems. Familiarity with Content Management Systems, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, XML, touch screens and SSL would be a plus.

Although both support and training will be provided, the most successful candidates will have a demonstrated history of learning quickly on the job.
